Radically Loved® with Rosie Acosta

Hello Friends, I’m Rosie Acosta. I am a Meditation Teacher; Speaker and Author of You Are Radically Loved: A healing journey to self-love. I grew up in East Los Angeles during the 92 La Riots and it set me on a troubled path for many years. I didn’t grow up with mentors in my life, so I turned to reading as many books as I possibly could to learn about life’s purpose. In my journey as a First Gen-Mexican American, I found having these conversations gave me insight, support, and inspiration. So, I decided to create a place where I could share these conversations with my community. The Radically Loved Podcast was born! How do we create a radically loved life? Come have a sit with me so we can discover all things mindfulness, spirituality, self-love, and overall healthy living. Please be sure to share the episodes that you love and also leave us a review!

This week on Radically Loved we are bringing you a re-cast of the Highest Self Podcast. Rosie Acosta and her bestie, Sahara Rose, deep dive on what it truly means to be magnetic. Magnetism is a word thrown around a lot in the spiritual world so we wanted to really dig in and define it in our own ways as well as universal ways.

In this episode Rosie and I will be sharing about…
  • Our own experiences with magnetism and what we have noticed within ourselves and other people
  • What creates attraction in dating and relationships
  • How your dharma (purpose) creates magnetism
  • Connecting with your sacred feminine + masculine energies
  • Not needing someone to complete you and how to create more self-love
  • The power and subtleties of confidence
  • The art of giving less of a fuck about what others think
  • Questioning your beliefs around what makes you worthy
  • Why you should prioritize having fun/play
  • And MORE!
Stepping into your magnetism can create a beautiful chain reaction that inspires others to step into their own magnetic energy. The more we are bringing our gifts and confidence online, the more we cultivate this energy across the collective and raise the vibration of the planet.

I hope this episode reminds you of your innate power to be magical and magnetic af. Because when you are embracing this ability, the world around you shifts and life begins to align with all of your manifestations and desires.

(17:43) “Every choice that you make is either getting you further towards alignment or further away from alignment” -- Rosie Acosta

Noticing that the type of people you’re attracted to has changed recently? Let’s break down the science behind why this is! The original show notes from the Highest Self Podcast, episode 499, follow below:

Please enjoy this (re)cast episode of Rosie Acosta and Sahara Rose.

Rosie and Sahara dive into the science of attraction. (Disclaimer: this is OUR science of attraction that you can’t find anywhere else 😉) Rosie is an expert in attraction after having been in a beautiful 20-year relationship and I love exploring this topic with her as a newly single spiritual woman as I am re-navigating what it means to date as a conscious person in the modern age. You’ll be getting a nice taste of our mixed perspectives throughout this conversation.

In this episode, we talk about dating apps and how they only reveal the smallest percentage of who someone truly is and how they can be dehumanizing, how birth control pills can impact your attraction towards someone, specific qualities that both males and females are drawn to, how to give yourself permission to evolve in a relationship, our beliefs around marriage, and SOUL much more around relationships and attraction.

If you’re like me and wonder why we are attracted to certain people and not others, and why our type changes as we mature and heal – you’re going to adore this episode (regardless of what your relationship status is!) Plus you’ll feel like a fly on the wall listening to two spiritual besties have an extremely unfiltered and hilarious conversation.

This week on Radically Loved Thomas Hübl joins us to discuss the profound idea that our traumatic experiences hold the potential for incredible growth and transformation. They explore the concept that within each of us lies a remarkable superpower – the innate ability to connect and be relational. We delve into the notion that, as humans, we are not isolated entities, but integral parts of a collective consciousness. Through the lens of this collective consciousness, we discuss how our interconnectedness grants us the capacity to rearchitect and heal the scars left by large-scale traumas like war and genocide. Join us as we embark on a thought-provoking journey into the depths of our shared humanity, and discover how our experiences, both personal and collective, can serve as catalysts for profound healing and societal change.

By embracing our interdependence, we can activate what is needed to respond and evolve through the challenges of our age. “It may take only a small number of us,” writes Hübl, “to establish a new level of collective coherence—to share our light, heal our wounds, and realize the unawakened potential of our world.”

Thomas Hübl, PhD, is a renowned teacher, author, and international facilitator whose lifelong work integrates the insights of the great wisdom traditions with the discoveries of science. Since the early 2000s, he has led large-scale events and courses on the healing of collective trauma, with a special focus on the shared history of Israelis and Germans, and facilitated healing and dialogue around racism, oppression, colonialism, and genocide. Do you ever feel so stressed that you just want to stop? We’ve all been there. Burnout is a real thing that happens to anyone and everyone, especially when we’re burdened by so many responsibilities. People’s advice is usually to start mindfulness and meditation — but be honest, did this really work out for you? Chances are, you think meditation is all about carving a big chunk of your time for it.

In today's episode, Light Watkins is here to finally set things straight about mindfulness. Spiritual minimalism is all about ‘traveling light’ without internal baggage and becoming more attuned to your intuition.
