JD’s career in broadcast news started at KTLA in 2000 as a production assistant, eventually serving as a senior entertainment producer for News@Ten. In 2002, he became a Hollywood-based reporter for Rise TV on UK’s Channel 4 in London. Then, in 2004, he worked at CNN as an overseer of the film, television, and entertainment news beat.
